Hi Arooj! I loved that you used Matthew's interest in math to help him to build his skills. By using word problems, you even catered to his strengths in reading. If I had to add anything to these lessons, I might try to think of a way to work in some writing skills. If you think he would be able to do it, for example, maybe he could try to write his own simple word problem. Perhaps he could do this with scaffolding (prompts and sentence-starting) at first. Great work with the lessons and profile!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job! You really took your time on this and it shows. I also loved how much you got to know your student and understood his struggles and what he needed to work on. The only suggestion that I have is to add in the assessments. What exactly is he going to be assessed on and how will it be provided? Nice work!
ReplyDeleteArooj,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your plans! I would use this plan in my classroom for sure! Also, you used technology well to support instruction and for student use. Thanks, this lesson is one of relevance, as children need to be able to identify various coins. Well done!
